The hardest part of the episode was not butchering his name in the intro.
I loved this conversation. The artist/writer collaborative process he had for his big project sounded particularly fruitful. His disciplined background as an architect is a lesson for any creative process that has to produce something functional and beautiful in the real world. Also liked the discussion about storytelling. And I liked his voice! A voice is more than an aesthetic thing with me… but it’s also aesthetic. You hear the undiluted person in their voice, and what they choose to talk about.
